FishnDan's Motherlode Fishing Report

The bite here in the central Mother Lode continues to be very good.

LAKE DON PEDRO, big rainbows continue to dominate the
action here on Pedro, fishing the bouy line at Fleming Marina,
trolling Jenkins Hill, and off Big Oak Island at 35' should put one
on the numerous bows  offered at Don Pedro. Rainbows average
two plus pounds with some topping the scales at over four pounds
and being taking on Vance's Slim Fin lures in Glitter Shad or
hammered silver or gold, white Needlefish, little Cleo or Ex-Cel
firetiger also very productive trolled at 35' to 40'.  King salmon located in Fleming Bay at depths from 60' to 120' hitting rolled shad, some king over three pounds.

LAKE TULLOCH, the Fall bite here on Tuloch has started with plenty of action on 16" bows. Working off the dam, or trolling off the resort at 10' with Slim Willie's in tandem with a nightcrawler, or trolling Uncle Larry's green tiger for bows to two pounds.
